Getting to know each other
We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Knox Preston Church a great one!
Knox Preston Church meets every Sunday morning for Worship, Kid's Ministry and Coffee...of course.
We begin at 10:30 AM
What Can I Expect?
How long is a Knox Preston Church service?
In total, a Knox Preston Church service is about 60 minutes in length. We follow a fairly traditional order of service but often change things up for variety, special speakers, or special services. We read scripture from our pew Bibles and projector, sing hymns and songs using our hymnal and projector. At times we stand during the service but some remain sitting in order to be more comfortable. Rev. Bill will share a message rooted in scripture, easy to understand, and practical for today's world. We want you to worship with us in any way that is comfortable to you.
What's the culture like at Knox Preston Church?
Sunday's at Knox Preston are welcoming, casual, and relaxed. Wear what you want. Sit where you want. Bring coffee with you if you like and stay for coffee after the service. Come as you are and make yourself one of the family.
What about my kids?
Knox Preston Church loves kids. We were all kids once you know! Your kids are welcome to stay with you in church. We have cuddly frogs filled with activities to keep them occupied, or bring one of their favourite toys with you. If your child would like, they are welcome to join the other kids downstairs for our Kid's Ministry. Our kid's program is small and we do not have a lengthy check-in process. Our kids' program uses song, art, science, and story telling to explore various stories and themes in the Bible in a one-room school setting. You are welcome to join them downstairs if you wish. Our Teachers will escort your child downstairs with the other kids just after the Kid's Focus at the beginning of our service.
