So, who is St. Andrew's Hespeler Presbyterian Church? We are a family, made up of imperfect people, that listens for the word of God and responds to that Word. Jesus is the fullest expression of God and it is His message and example that we do our best to follow. We find acceptance, love and hope in Jesus and we want as many people as possible to experience this freedom with us.
In January 2025 we joined in a non-traditional amalgamation with the congregation of St. Andrew's Hespeler Presbyterian Church. We regularly worship there on Sunday mornings starting at 10:00 am. You are very welcome to come and join us there.
We are planning to continue our presence in Preston by offering alternative forms of worship on days other than Sundays and other programs and events.
Currently we are doing some renovations and getting ready to start a Messy Church Program. We hope to be able to start up in the fall on Thursday evenings.
Knox Preston Church was started in 1893. Originally formed to meet the needs of the local Scots-Irish Presbyterians, it is now a congregation that welcomes everyone to the table regardless of personal history, family background, ethnicity, gender, and sexual orientation. We invite you to become a part of God's continuing story in Preston.
Where is Knox Preston Church headed? Great question! We are headed in the direction that God calls us to follow. We will continue to foster a growing family rooted in Jesus as we reach out to the local community and the world with the hope found in Jesus. As we move forward as a family, inclusion and belonging remain at the center of who we are as followers of Christ.
See above to find out a bit more of where we are headed. Will you join us on this journey?
